I work with White people managers and their teams to create and sustain an antiracist workplace culture.
In psychologically safe small team settings, we talk directly about race and racism – why it happens, and what we need to do to end it. I challenge people to be vulnerable, to share stories, to get comfortable being uncomfortable, to listen and learn from one another, and to be self-reflective and authentic. Participants emerge from the experience with greater self-awareness, competence, and motivation to work toward being consistently antiracist, and creating antiracist workplaces.
This is not a presentation or a workshop. There is no slide deck or keynote lecture. There will be a pre-read and some discussion prompts to reflect upon before we meet. My job is not to tell you “what to do” or “how to think.” My job is to guide the conversation in a way that leads to a shared experience, understanding, and commitment that will lead to tangible change and action.
You and your team will get out of the experience exactly what you put into the experience. When everyone – especially you as the leader – commits to actively participating in the discussion, “what to do” will naturally emerge from the collective wisdom.
In the group, participants will:

• Become empowered to take concrete actionable steps to be antiracist
