Write a Song with a Nashville Songwriter

Want to write a theme song for your company? Tell its story? Pen an anthem with your team, for your team? Anne can help you do that.

In this 90-minute virtual session, you will start from scratch and co-write a complete, original song with Anne Buckle, a professional songwriter in Nashville. Never written a song before? Great! Simply come with a willingness to be vulnerable and an idea or two. Anne will coach you every step of the way, from picking a theme to writing the lyrics to putting the words to a melody and adding chords on guitar.

This experience is perfect for team building and reconnecting, and Anne has hundreds of hours of experience working in-person and online with businesses, museums, schools, and other organizations to lead and facilitate interactive group songwriting sessions both online and in-person. Notable past clients include Accenture, the U.S. Department of State, Hospital Corporation of America, Match.com, Hotjar, Story Terrace, First Round, The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Wounded Warrior Project, and Hamilton College.

Post-session deliverables include an MP3 recording of the song with a lyric/chords sheet, sent to you via email.

My Background

Anne Buckle is a Nashville-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and the visionary behind artist moniker WILDWOOD, where she has amassed millions of streams of her original songs. A descendent of the Carter family and a cousin of June Carter Cash, Anne has been called "a refreshing take on a legendary family" by the Nashville Music Guide. Originally from Peachtree City, GA, Anne graduated with a double major in music and international affairs from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and she went on to complete a master’s in arts education from Harvard. Before moving to Nashville, she worked briefly for the US Department of State in Washington, DC and the US Embassy in Paris, France. Her first 3 years in Nashville, Anne worked for the Governor of Tennessee in education policy, but in 2016, she decided to follow her heart and quit her government job when she was invited to tour with the band Augustana, opening for The Chicks’ world tour. Since then, she has shared the stage with the late Charlie Daniels, had her songs recorded by other artists including former American Idol star David Archuleta, and led group songwriting sessions with corporate clients all over the world. Anne has performed on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, and sold out shows at the world famous Bluebird Cafe dozens of times over the past decade. Her passion project is 3 Chords, a non-profit she founded in 2016 that teaches songwriting to refugee teens to help them share their stories through music.
